I am currently using a 1 piece by Coloplast. Its the soft convex wafer because my stoma is a bit short on the bottom part and the convexity prevents leaks.

Other Products:
Coloplast Protective Skin Barrier Sheets
Coloplast Elastic Barrier Strips (the C shaped things)
Eakin Cohesive Slim Seals

To remove any leftover sticky residue I use doTERRA Lemon essential oil. You can use any high quality essential oil. Please ensure you are not using a cheap brand as they tend to be mixed with synthetic ingredients and can harm your skin! You can get your doTERRA oils at

DISCLAIMER: I NO LONGER recommend doTERRA products. After much research I do no agree with this company's ethics or believe in their quality claims.

I trust a few other brands. Please use your better judgement. Not all essential oils are created equal!

I use a "low residue" soap to clean the skin after removing the sticky residue. Low residue soaps do not leave that soft feel to your skin. A good example of a low residue soap is Ivory soap or Dial. A soap that leaves a residue would be Dove. The best test for this is after you wash your hands with it dry them and rub them together. If your hands feel soft and smooth then there is likely a residue on them. If they feel dry and sort of stick together when you try to rub them then there is likely not a residue on them.
