Battle Walk of East Cemetery Hill - Part 1

Follow
Adams County Historical Society at Gettysburg

Join Licensed Battlefield Guide Robert “Bobby” Housch as he shows the terrain and reviews the decisions of Union and Confederate leaders as they position their troops on East Cemetery Hill for the Battle of Gettysburg.

Through old photos, maps, and more contemporary pictures, he helps viewers visualize troop movements as both sides move into town for the Battle of Gettysburg.

This twopart program will begin with an analysis of Union movements. Next week, he will follow the Confederate forces as they prepare to attack East Cemetery Hill.

Bobby Housch is a native of Chattanooga, Tennessee, who now resides in Gettysburg. In addition to his LBG tours for visitors, he teaches history with the South Western School District near Hanover. In his “spare time,” he serves as a volunteer with the Adams County Historical Society.
