Season 6's Patch 6.2 has landed and with it Battlefield 2042 (BF2042) has seen the arrival of significantly more dangerous Jets with improved targeting & buffed Rocket Pods (Hydra Pods) which are making Vehicles lives Hell. One of the best Counters to BF2042 Jets is the Wildcat with its 30mm and 35mm AntiAir (AA) cannons they're capable of clearing the Sky & boosting your shot at winning the round. They're also tremendous fun to play with and I would encourage everyone to give them a go.

In addition to their AA role, Wildcats are very often pulled into ground battles which can be difficult to survive.The AntiTank (AT) Missiles are an excellent choice for improving survivability, but ground battles should never be the primary goal of a Wildcat and the 40mm should never, ever be equipped. The Wildcat is completely wasted if it's not watching the skies above.
