The game is not being updated so this will always be relavent.
Reeecon told me to make this so blame him. Also I keep seeing people use the wrong stuff and that is not ok.

Use whatever. Laser is the only thing that does anything and it helps with hip fire. I personally dont use them bc I cant be bothered to turn them on and off all the time bc of smoke. But that doesnt mean there isnt a reason to use them. I just dont include them bc I dont think its a big deal.

Just a little elaboration on what I mean by DPS differences, because this video isn’t autistic enough. If you were to take to two people and face them off in a perfectly equal fight you would have kill trades every time if they have the same gun; in BF4 you can’t really kill trade but whatever. Point is, the guns are equal. The difference between the stubby and comp stubby on aek is like 23 times out of a thousand the comp stubby would win and you wouldn’t have a kill trade. Obviously, this is such a low number that it isn’t even statically relevant, and BF4 is such a mess that you could easily chalk it up to DICE. Put in the fact that there are a million other variables and the guns behave the same way. Comp stubby needs to be perfectly bursted however.
Also you will see that a lot of the calculations that symthic uses actually completely negates vertical recoil. Since technically speaking, vertical recoil is the only recoil that can be reliably controlled. This obviously gives the heavy barrel a huge advantage in their number crunching since the heavy barrel would have no down sides. Of course, we at symthic tried to figure out how to numerically get around the fact that recoil isn’t perfectly controlled. It is not prefect but basically what kills you the most about the heavy barrel is the first shot recoil multiplier. You can land the first shot but then have to either decide to over compensate and hit your second shot and not the third or fourth, or under compensate and miss your second and third shot but hit your fourth. This is because humans have an extremely hard time with anything that’s not linear movement. Thus you’re losing DPS against a head glitched target.
