As Season 7 of Battlefield 2042 (bf2042) wraps up, all eyes are on the future of the franchise. Few things can be said for certain, but I am confident we can say this for some Battlefield 1 (BF1) was the gold standard, others favoured Battlefield V (BFV) whilst the crazies amongst us like myself actually think Battlefield 2042 ended up an excellent game. What this means is, no matter what DICE does next, some people aren't going to be happy!

A good chap called Benbit put together a community survey to solicit opinion, and having completed it I really applaud what was done. It considers mechanics across the years which inspired me to put this video together exploring Tank (vehicle) play, infantry play and other footage from BF2042, BFV and BF1 to outline the choices DICE faces. I even dared to offer an opinion on what I would do if I were in charge. What would you do?
