Join me on an EPIC solo overnight backpacking trip to Battleship Mountain, in the Superstition Wilderness of Arizona. The 13 mile round trip hike begins at the First Water Trail Head parking lot, and ends on top of one of the most challenging boulder scrambles in the Superstitions BATTLESHIP MOUNTAIN. The most terrifying hike I've been on is complete with 1015 ft high rock wall climbs and a boulder ridge scramble that is sure to get your heart pumping as you balance on the bright yellow, moss covered boulders with 100+ ft cliffs on both sides.
