Bay of Islands is an amazing part of Northland we were happy to explore during our New Zealand road trip. As you may know from our previous travel vlogs, we spent a couple of weeks up north, at the very top of the North Island and visited many beautiful destinations out there. Of course, we couldn't skip the Bay of Islands as it's a very popular spot for both locals and tourists.

This video is mainly about the Bay of Islands and includes popular tourist attractions like a cruise to Urupukapuka Island and Hole in the Rock from Paihia, taking a ferry to Russell, visiting Russell historical township and tour to the Pompallier Mission. But as we wanted to show you other nonmainstream locations, we also stopped in Okiato (first capital of New Zealand), Orongo Bay (Mangroves walk), Taupiri Bay and the Gallery & Cafe Helena Bay Hill.
