BBC Two had their biggest refresh in a decade in November 2001, when the set of idents used as far back as February 1991 were retired for a new yellowcoloured set featuring a robot 2 with a personality. Here's the final evening of the old look and some of the first day of the new, which started with just the four idents seen here more were added in the years ahead. Several are broadcast in 4:3 due to old films or repeats of schools programmes.

The Personality/yellow set would be used until February 2007. Despite the announcer requesting we 'look our last' as the idents change 'forever', they would in fact return to the channel in 2014 and were reused until September 2018.
