The National Cancer Control Programme is hosting a webinar as part of the 2024 SunSmart campaign on ‘Sunscreen Myths and Facts’.

The webinar will aim to increase awareness of the steps you, your family, friends and colleagues can take to protect your skin from the sun and the importance of using sunscreen as the last form of defence.

Jenny Tobin from Health Products Regulatory Authority and Dr Aoife Lally Consultant Dermatologist will answer the many questions we have about slopping on sunscreen and debunk some myths.
