Before you donate your stem cells or bone marrow, you will need injections 45 days previous to the "harvest". They base the quantity of injections on your body weight & mass. At 190 lbs, I required a qty of 3 5ml injections each morning leading up to the transfusion. The morning of, the nurse will give the final injections. Done at City Of Hope:
