A full demonstration of plein air painting in the sand dunes looking towards the sea & sail boats in Ile de Re, France. Lots of commentary on light and shadow, colours used, shapes & edges.... I decided to ware a pretty dress & floppy hat instead of my usual work gear, it felt nice to have the sand between my toes....also it was very hot and windy! I hope you enjoy it, we did husband Nick filmed me on this one (he makes his first appearance :)
