Beachy Head Marathon 2014
Beachy Head Marathon 2014 On Saturday October 25th, four of the dumbest members of Worthing Harriers Athletics Club arrived in Eastbourne to run the 2014 Beachy Head Marathon. The full race report is here http://filmmyrun.com/beachyheadmara...
The race begins at the foot of Beachy Head in Eastbourne. It heads up the hill and out over the South Downs, following the South Downs way to Jevington and on to Alfriston. The race then heads along the Cuckmere River to Litlington and Exceat at the Seven Sisters Country Park.
The final 6 miles of the marathon follow the rolling hills, known as the Seven Sisters, back to Eastbourne, passing Burling Gap, the old Belle Tout lighthouse and the classic red and whitehooped Beachy Head lighthouse, which sits at the foot of the famous 500ft white cliffs.
