I am building my ultimate small water jon boat and this is phase one! I got my first mud motor the Beaver Dam Mud Runner kit with a 6.6 hp Predator Engine! My ultimate goal is to have a boat that will run through shallow/small water for both hunting and fishing. Not only do I want it for duck hunting but I would like to take it in hard to access places for turkey and deer and find some hidden fishing holes with it. I'll be opting for a jon boat over a sneak boat because I think it will be more versatile. Stay tuned for more updates to this project!
