Communication is changing constantly. And internal communication within companies in particular, is changing at a very fundamental level and a very rapid pace. One factor responsible for this are the fact that the tools we are using at changing fundamentally as well. Such a large amount of our communication is switching from EMail to instant messaging platforms. And at the core of these platforms (in our company as well) is Slack.

This video is intended as an overview and deep dive into Slack. I want to give you guys the best tips and hacks that we have accumulated at Blackboat, since introducing the tool just over 4 years ago.

We believe that Slack has done wonders for opening up communication within our team, allowing for us to be more transparent about our individual projects and client projects as well as for reaching the entire team on more personal or emotional topics. But for us, it's not just about the tool, but how the people behind the tool are using it.

So we're hoping that this video will give you some insight into Slack as a communication tool. Maybe show you some features or hacks you weren't aware of if you are using it already or perhaps show you the advantages to using Slack as an internal communicationtool if you are still relying a little too heavily on EMail...
