"George Harrison: A Beatle in Benton, Illinois" is a historical documentary that explores the musical roots of Beatles' lead guitarist George Harrison and his first visit to America. In September 1963, while his bandmates vacationed elsewhere, George and his brother Peter arrived in Benton, Illinois, to visit their sister Louise, who had moved there earlier that year. Louise promoted her brother’s band at local radio stations, leading to the firstever American radio play of a Beatles song, "From Me to You," at WFRXAM. The documentary features exclusive interviews and captures the early days of Beatlemania in America, just before the band took the world by storm.
