Whiteboard video is becoming a common trait. It's easy to get your hands on a whiteboard tool like VideoScribe, Animaker, Doodly, or Vyond. But unfortunately, that's not enough. You need a strong process to make good animation videos.

First, you need a plan. A Script. Scriptwriting is sticky business, but we'll use my templates to get started. At first, scriptwriting for video is hard, but you need to get good at it to succeed with this.

Next, you need sound. A VoiceOver. Use a USB microphone or a newer smartphone to record the narration of your script. Or, pay a freelancer on Fiverr to do it for you. Cheap and good.

Lastly, you need visuals. Animations. In modern animation tools, you search for your assets and pull them into one scene after the other. Less is more. Watch professional whiteboard videos for reference.

When you're done, you export the video and share it with the world. Congratulations Now, the real journey starts — of becoming a pro 'explainer', where you are able to simplify complexity, structure information, and convert it to content.
