In early 2024, AlphaTheta introduced it's first professional rotary DJ mixer, the 4channel euphonia, packed with a Rupert Neve analog transformer for a warm and rich sound!

One key challenge with the euphonia's engineering was to arrive at a transformer that provided all of the elements listed above in a package that could integrate with the lower operating levels needed with interfacing into a digital environment.

The kind of audio output obtained by passing through a Rupert Neve Design's analog transformer is threefold:

Firstly, it provides galvanic isolation from ground loops and RF interference. Even microscopic levels of interfering signals can cause loss of musicality and loss of definition, and can cause unpredictable harshness.

This allows for a truly complete sonic picture to emerge from the other end of the circuit, preserving all the character and complexity of the original source.

Finally, all Rupert Neve Design transformers are carefully designed to respect, preserve, and enhance musically relevant 2nd and 3rd order harmonic content that are the hallmark of Mr. Neve’s design heritage. This creates a fuller, richer, more robust sound, without any loss of clarity or definition.
