After 5 years I finally needed to execute a tier point run to reestablish gold status with British Airways. I'd already gotten half way to the tier point total I needed with a trip to Jakarta which I previously covered on the channel, and to complete the process I elected to undertake a "traditional" tier point run from Europe to the West Coast of the US.

In this video I'll show how the return flights went, and it didn't go well. So from bitter experience, I'll share some advice on what to do when things go wrong... In part one, I talked about the outbound flights, how I coped with them and I shared some tips for planning a trip like this....
