On Saturday June 3rd of 2023, Grassy Fork Volunteer Fire Department, along with the Cocke County Sheriff’s Department hosted a benefit ride for Joey Owens, who was suffering from cancer. This benefit ride was open to UTV’s and Jeeps alike.

The route was from the Amoco station in Harford, through the Gulf, over to Max Patch, and back around Round Mountain down to 107 ending at Fox Den.
