How Robotic Surgery Works
During roboticassisted surgery, the surgeon operates from a console that is located in the room adjacent to the patient. Once the surgical plan is created, special attachments are placed on the patient's leg or hip. These attachments enable the surgeon to move the patient's limb with pinpoint accuracy while they operate from the console.
