In this video, I will explain the many benefits of sea salt and the negative side effects of iodized table salt.

Negatives of Iodized Table Salt:
⁃ Contains MSG, anticaking agents and aluminum derivatives
⁃ Increases blood pressure
⁃ Leads to weight gain

Benefits of Sea Salt or Rock Salt
⁃ Contain as many as 80 trace vitamins and minerals
⁃ Hydration
⁃ Support kidney detoxification
⁃ Cleansing of colon
⁃ Health of libido
⁃ Brain function
⁃ Heart health
⁃ Overall energy levels

My two favorites are Himalayan salt and Celtic sea salt that you should get into your diet on a regular basis.

It is best to get 1/4 tsp per meal 3 times a day.
⁃ If you are an athlete or sweating a lot, you may need more.
⁃ If you have thyroid issues, then getting real salt on your food every day is a must!

With salt, you also need to get more potassiumrich foods to have a healthy ratio balance for fluid exchange which is critical for detoxification. Hydration is not just getting more water, but also getting more sodium and potassium. Here is an article on my website about potassiumrich foods: http://draxe.com/top10potassiumric...
