Ngak Ngak was one of the later Beneteau 57's imported through our team into Australia with all the best equipment added for luxury cruising and occasional regatta racing in mind. She has been loved by just two discerning owners since her launch in 2006 and has always been well known to us.

The Beneteau 57 was a flagship model for Beneteau for many years and no expense was spared in building this blue water cruising yacht. It was designed by Farr who's brief was to bring comfort, performance and function together in a yacht that has genuine ability for serious blue water cruising, with timeless looks and an interior and deck layout that is hard to beat, for long stretches on board.

On deck, all covered in traditional teak, area is maximised with a reverse stern protruding further than the waterline with an electric transom that closes for ultimate blue water safety or allows a staircase to the aft beach style transom board. Moving forward there is plenty of deck space and concealed storage lockers including a deep bow locker with stairs for flying sails and other wet storage,

The central cockpit is large and well protected from a hard glass and stainless steel windscreen, dodger and bimini. Time spent here around the grand teak table is great for entertaining or sailing, the offset helm to port provides excellent visibility when navigating forward or owners can spin around and tell a tale to your cockpit guests. All the on deck Nav gear, engine controls and bow thruster are easily accessible from this dedicated station.

The sailing plan is designed for ease of use and performance. The mast is a triple spreader high spec Sparcraft section, the boom is a Leisure Furl, furling system with hydraulic vang. The Facnor electric headsail furler and electric winches make deploying and adjusting sails a breeze from the cockpit which is so much fun, whether cruising or racing, out of the rough weather elements.

The brilliant interior is finished in beautiful Beneteau Cherrywood timber. Aft is the palatial owners stateroom with ensuite, that is as good as any 70ft yacht would sport on the market. Moving forward to starboard you'll find a single crew/guest cabin in the aft companionway, with a day head forward of that. The incredible saloon is central with sofa, 8 seater dinette, and a huge, dedicated charttable. There is a full u shaed galley port side that is very well equipped. Forward are two luxurious double, guest cabins with ensuites and a shared shower. There are plenty of high quality, opening hatches and stainless steel portholes bringing in an abundance of light and ventilation.

The sail wardrobe includes carbon/technora taffeta backed in boom furling mainsail and electric furling genoa (2016), self tacking staysail (2022) and asymmetric spinnaker.

Most Beneteau 57's sport the beautiful blue hull as does Ngak Ngak, however she was repainted in Pittwater, Sydney. She is without doubt one of the best of this premium model from Beneteau on offer in Australia, if not the world.
