Bensen B8B Gyroboat “ith all the new hydrotoys out there (Flyboard, hydrofoil board, etc) you’d think this concept would be a slam dunk in this day and age. The Bensen B8B Gyroboat was a development of its famous line of powered B8 autogyros, and consisted of a bare autogyro frame attached to a dinghy. It could take off when pulled behind a boat at 22mph and cruise at 30mph, at an altitude of 30ft. The Gyroboat kit was produced between 19561959. Don’t know how
many were delivered or how many heads and limbs were lost.
