Best 5 courses to study in Australia in 2024 to get PR

Australia is home to 43 universities, some of them in the world’s top 100 Universities.

Australia is a safe and welcoming country attracting many students who want to settle in Australia and get an Australian Permanent Residency. So, let's start!

After completing studies there are two main visa paths which Students would follow to get PR.

• Skilled Visa (Subclass 189, 190, and 491)
• EmployerSponsored Visa

The course we are mentioning have strong options in both paths.


Number 5 – Bachelor’s degree in social work or Community Services
This is usually a 3 years degree with a tuition fee of roughly AUD 18000 per year.
Make sure the degree you are going to get enrolled in is ACWA accredited.
Social Work is on the mediumterm list and so can lead to a Skilled Independent visa or190 or 491.
Employer sponsorship is also an option.
Under a Ministerial Direction Social Work currently received priority processing

Number 4 Diplomalevel qualifications related to Carpentry.
With a shortage of houses in Australia, the Government is pushing for the building of more houses. Carpenters are very much in demand in terms of employability.
This course is a twoyear course with a tuition fee of approximately AUD 10000 per year.
This is a very good option if you are looking for a trade course that may lead to PR.

Number 3 – Advanced Diploma in Civil Construction Design
It is a twoyear course with a tuition fee of roughly AUD 12000 per year.
One of the good things about the course is that you can get a skill assessment done from Engineers Australia without any work experience and apply for a 485 Graduate Visa and then further for any of the GSM visas.

Number 2 Teaching.
Bachelor of Teaching is a 4years degree with a tuition fee of approximately AUD 18000 per year.
For those with a relevant Degree, then Masters in Teaching is a two year course.
Teachers are on the mediumterm list with several PR application options, and they are also a high priority in processing just like Registered nurses.
Different universities have different admission criteria, so do check with us if you are interested in this course.
Under a Ministerial Direction Teaching is currently received priority processing

Registered nurses are on the mediumterm list with several PR application options and they also have the highest priority in processing.
Bachelor of Nursing is a 3years degree with a tuition fee of roughly AUD 30000 per year. One of the basic requirements for enrolment in this course is an English test results equivalent to IELTS 7 bands in each module.
