Diet after colorectal cancer treatment. See colorectal cancer treatment involves different varieties of treatment any cancer treatment. We do either surgical treatment or chemotherapy called medical treatment where we give injections or tablets to clear the cancer cells. We do radiation treatment. It's called radiation oncology. Commonly it is called as current treatment they give. So they give radiation to clear the cancer cells. Now we have got something called immunotherapy also for cancer treatment. So there are varieties of treatments available and most of them will be using in combination depending on the stage of the disease. The postoperative dietary management depends on what sort of treatments you have given. Supposing in colorectal cancer we have removed a part of the intestine where there will be absorption of vitamin B12. So then we have to give them B12 supplements. Supposing after removing the we have done a colostomy or an ileostomy we have made a hole in the small intestine for the motion to come out because of certain reasons where we have removed the large intestine a lot of liquid will be lost so we have to replace the liquids in the diet. So all those dietary it doesn't represent the after post cancer treatment. What are the needs after doing the surgery or radiotherapy or immunotherapy or chemotherapy what deficiencies they can get and what sort of problems they can get because of the diet. So it has to be planned by the treating doctor in association with a dietician. There we plan and give. So there is no this one that hard and fast rules. So you take this sort of treatment after postoperative colorectal cancer treatment.
