With a couple rains and unable to bale, the regrowth was coming through the hay swaths. Packed too tight to use a rake. I modified a NH850 Round Baler by taking the apron chain and the back hatch off. Just use as if you were baling and the pickup and the floor chains will drag the hay back and toss it over the back fins. Does a real nice job lifting the swaths out of the regrowth, without any shattering. Unlike a rake which rolls it like a rope then the wind can't get at it as easily. Speeds up drying time with a little wind and you are ready for baling. Lots of old NH 850 balers around for a couple hundred bucks.
