"Hi, I'm Dave Esposito.

I'm a boardcertified vascular surgeon here at Milford Vascular Institute, and I wanted to talk to you something about something that's really close to my heart, and that's our mission statement at Milford Vascular.

To me, I think it's something pretty unique. I've been to a lot of doctor's offices, and I've never seen a mission statement on the wall.

When you come to Milford Vascular, you not only see it on the wall, you see it on the wall of every single room. And that's on purpose because when I created this mission statement, it really came to the heart of how I wanted people to be taken care of.

From my experiences as a patient to my experiences as a doctor running around the country in different hospitals and seeing how patients are treated, I just wanted to do something differently.

And here in Milford Vascular Institute, the way we do it is written on the wall, and every patient can see it and read it, and they hold us to that.

And so my staff knows. They know they can't hide. So if they are lacking in one of those things, they're called out pretty quickly.

And that's why I think when you come here, you'll see a very different atmosphere and a different way of providing medical care that really is special, I think.

And it gets down to the bottom line, where if you're in the medical field like I am, like all my staff are, the bottom line is we want to make patients feel good. We want to help them get better. That's what counts.

Not this other stuff, right? Not my schedule or their copays or those things. Those things are unimportant. It's making them feel better and diagnosing them and treating them and getting them back to health.

And if we focus on that, the rest of this stuff takes care of itself.
