In this indepth walkthrough review and sea trial, Jack Haines tries to find out by taking the Predator 65 for a spin in the Solent. Do singlelevel living and an enormous sunroof win out over the upper deck and fantastic driving position of the 65 Sport Yacht?

The Predator 65 came about a year after the 65 Sport Yacht, with which it shares everything except a top deck. This means a three or fourcabin layout plus a single crew on the lower deck, a tender garage aft and a main deck that flows together effortlessly between the cockpit and main deck saloon.

Performance doesn’t vary much between the models, both will achieve around 35 knots and cruise comfortably for 350nm at 25 knots.
