I made a special musical video of Between the Lions for their 20th anniversary with the Partridge Family Puppets today. I enjoyed watching this PBS Kids show on television when I was five. Between the Lions was a little more like Sesame Street and the Electric Company. The basic philosophy of the program is to get kids "wild about reading"; this is literalized through the use of a family of lions running a library: Theo and Cleo and their children Lionel and Leona.
