Beverlywood is a small neighborhood in Los Angeles developed in 1940 by Walter H. Leimert. It is one of the first neighborhoods in Los Angeles with binding CC&Rs with regulations administered by the Beverlywood Homes Association limiting housing size, color and style. The Beverlywood Homes Association maintains several private parks for residents which are gated and only accessible by homeowners with Circle Park being the exception. Home prices in Beverlywood are a little higher than much of Los Angeles. The majority of singlefamily homes in Beverlywood were built between the 1920’s to the 1950’s.
