A US radio station initially refused to play a Beyoncé request, claiming to be a "country music station."

However, after facing criticism and accusations of racism and discrimination, the station, KYKCFM, changed its tune. The incident gained attention when the fan posted the station's response on social media.

Now, KYKCFM is playing "Texas Hold 'Em," one of the songs Beyoncé revealed during Super Bowl ads which features lyrics about hoedowns, and the music includes a banjo.
