Bhabra Bazar is located in the old city of Rawalpindi. The history of this Bazar started back before the partition. The Bhabras from the Jain religion were residing here and were mostly traders of gold.
They were quite rich and the old buildings and Havelis which still exist here are telling the story of their lifestyle. After partition, the Bhabras were migrated to India, and Muslims from Ludhiana and other areas came here.
This place is really charming and still has an old culture and feel.
The food spots here are also quite old. Some spots have spent more than 40 years. Visiting this Bazar is quite fun for a foodie and a history person. You can also find shops that work on the old utensils of copper, silver, and brass.
