God Speaks to Samuel
When Samuel was just a boy, he received his first calling from God in 1 Samuel chapter 3. Samuel was lying down one night when he heard a loud voice calling out his name. Thinking the voice belonged to Eli, Samuel ran to him and said, “Here I am, you called me” (3:5).

Peter's Escape from Prison
In Acts 12, King Herod put Peter in jail. On the night before his trial, Peter was heavily guarded and placed in double chains. Suddenly, an angel appeared and told Peter to follow him. Peter's chains fell from his wrists, and the angel led him past the guards and out of the jail.
