A beneficial beehive, a ninja incubator, a source of unique and precious sweetness for a few magical minutes, the Vilnius stageshell became all of these things and more and everybody was a soprano. Months of preparation yielded exactly one take with a hot mic and they crushed it.

And then, just like a linden blossom, it was gone. But the honey remains.

It's not evident in this video, but the lighting guys projected a honeycomb pattern onto the ceiling of the stageshell, perfect. All part of a brilliant concept and metaphor, superbly tailored to the massive scale of this event and superbly realized. So proud of my lietuvai!

And the brilliant metaphor goes for the nation as a whole, of course. Every Lithuanian is a member of one hugely beneficial beehive.
