The DHAG2 is an Aussie designed and built troop glider. It was built as a means of intercepting Japanese military forces should an invasion by them commence. First flown at RAAF Richmond 14 June 1942. The model shown here was built from scratch using info from various sources, including manufacturer drawings. She was quite a bit light in the nose during the first flight, and survived the with just minor damage. It will be terrific to see her properly trimmed and flying around. A world first? Probably.
