The SKR V1.4 has a bug in it related to endstop / limit switch. If you're considering upgrading to the SKR V1.4 you should see if this endstop bug affects your build. If you're building a new 3D Printer you should also watch this to see if your endstop or limit switch will be affected. I did reach out to Big Tree Tech regarding this bug and they did confirm that the version 1.4 does have the wrong resistor on the board. For many users this won't affect you but for others this may be a show stopper for upgrading to the board.
