Leor Sapir is a fellow at the Manhattan Institute (MI). In his work at the MI, Dr. Sapir applies his research and academic experience to policy matters, concentrating on issues of gender identity and transgenderism. His inaugural essay in City Journal (Winter 2022) explores a series of recent court rulings on transgenderism, demonstrating how bad ideas translate from fringe academic theory into law and policy.
