जुलाई के शुरुआत से ही मॉनसून पूरी तरह से एक्टिव है. इस वजह से पूरे बिहार में अच्छी खासी बारिश हो रही है. नतीजन गंगा समेत अन्य नदियों का जलस्तर बढ़ रहा है. बुधवार को दिन भर पटना में झमाझम बारिश होती रही. यही हाल अधिकांश जिलों में है. बीते मगंलवार तक पटना शहर में गंगा का जलस्तर दीघा घाट पर 80 और गांधी घाट पर 44 सेमी बढ़ा है. वहीं, पिछले पांच दिनों में गंगा में पानी दीघा घाट पर 120 और गांधी घाट पर 71 सेमी बढ़ा है.


Monsoon is fully active since the beginning of July. Because of this, it is raining heavily throughout Bihar. As a result, the water level of other rivers including Ganga is increasing. It rained heavily in Patna throughout the day on Wednesday. Same is the situation in most of the districts. Till last Tuesday, the water level of Ganga in Patna city has increased by 80 cm at Digha Ghat and 44 cm at Gandhi Ghat. At the same time, in the last five days, the water in Ganga has increased by 120 cm at Digha Ghat and 71 cm at Gandhi Ghat.



हालांकि राजधानी में गंगा अभी खतरे के निशान से नीचे है. लेकिन लगातार हो रही बारिश से बाढ़ का खतरा बढ़ गया है. पटना स्थित आईएमडी के वैज्ञानिक कमल सिंह गुप्ता के अनुसार आज भी बिहार के सभी जिलों के ज्यादातर हिस्सों में बारिश हो रही है.
