Melbourne International Comedy Festival (#MICF) is one of the largest comedy festivals in the world and has been shining a light on all kinds of local, international, established, and emerging comedy since 1987. Every year over March and April, the city of Melbourne is transformed into a bustling hub of all things comedy, with something hilarious around every corner. With a program full of standup, improv, musical comedy, physical comedy, comedy for kids, and everything in between, there's guaranteed to be something for everyone.

This channel is all about sharing some of the highlights from each new Festival, as well as providing a bountiful comedy archive from years gone by. You'll find hours of comedy from international stars such as James Acaster, Fern Brady, Trevor Noah, and Nina Conti, as well as countless iconic Aussie comics, like Hannah Gadsby, Ronny Chieng, Celia Pacquola, and Aaron Chen. You can even find the next best thing from development programs such as RAW Comedy (the country's largest open mic comedy competition), Deadly Funny (the biggest First Nations comedy competition in Australia), and Class Clowns (a nationwide search for the funniest highschooler).
