You may not be thinking much about contraception while you are struggling with diapers, sleep deprivation, breastfeeding and the many other details of caring for yourself and a new baby. Believe it or not, you and your husband or partner will soon find time and energy for each other and, well, you need to be prepared!

What types of contraception could you consider? Many types of birth control may be used while breastfeeding, but some should be avoided. Some women do not want to take any hormones while they are nursing, while other women feel comfortable with hormonal methods. Newer IUDs are popular but how do they differ from one another, and from older IUDs? This webinar will go through most types of commonly used birth control methods, address their efficacy and help explain the options.
