In this video we fly the Black Horse Model A6M Zero a 94" RC Scale Model of the famous Japanese fighter that played havoc for the allies in the Pacific theater of World War II. In this Test flight, after weeks of assembly, everything goes really well and we get real feel for the size and realistic performance of this incredible miniature aircraft. Flying from our community airstrip which is 3500 feet long the airplane really give a realistic performance reminiscent of the actual aircraft of WWII infamy. I live in full scale airpark and many of my pilot/neighbors engage in flying radio control aircraft right from our back yards. Being the proud owner of a 1958 VTail Bonanza, models that actually fly have given me a whole additional layer of experience and knowledge of aviation. I've been a member of the Academy of Model Aeronautics for almost four decades and really enjoy the hobby. The experience of building models is a major part of it but the time and effort can be really extensive. This incredible aircraft kit offers the owner a great way to get right to the fun of flying without the years of effort involved in building something like this.
