Black Horse Model A6M Zero Throws a Prop

After Spending a month preparing the Black Horse Model 94" Mitsubishi A6M Zero the DLE 55 engine throws a propeller while running up. I flew the airplane several times over a two week period and dealt with the regular type issues. The airplane flies fabulously and is certainly one of the most realistic scale RC aircraft I have ever owned.
Problems came up with the tail gear control horn which has been the most tenacious of them all. I also had the main gear fall out during roll out on a landing. I had the axles tighten up and break the nylon bolts I so fortuitously decided to use instead of metal mounting bolts.
I had just finished installing the smoke system and was about to test fly the airplane again with the change in CG when the prob flew off and set me back again. I was very lucky that the prop didn't do much damage to the airplane.
This model is a real joy to fly and to see in the air. It's scale speed is incredible and the sound of that big bore gasoline engine is a perfect match for the experience.
I will repair the engine and get it back in the air so I can create a video showing the wonderful attributes of this Almost Ready to Fly RC aircraft kit.
Crashing RC model aircraft is something that you really hate to see happen and that luckily doesn't happen to me that much after 40 years of flying. When it does happen it usually comes from failures during the volatile period when the aircraft is brand new. It certainly is a blessing when you have a failure on the ground right before you take off. I'm not sure why it happened but I am guessing I forgot to tighten one of the propeller mounting bolts. I will never know.
