BlackBerry lovers wanted a BlackBerry with the features they knew and loved and BlackBerry answered in 2014 this beautiful phone was released.
Originally what was the Q20 and became the Classic, this was a follow up to the Q10 from 2013, instead of keeping the same design, BlackBerry added the trackpoint and familiar button layout from older models (and we all rejoiced!)
This phone reminds me of the Bold and thats not a bad thing, I LOVED the BB Bold's design. This phone has the classic keyboard we all know and love and has a stainless steel brushed band around it, it screams quality when you hold it.
The Classic is a BlackBerry OS 10 device and has a 3.5" square aspect ratio 720x720 display. It has the same processor, graphics and RAM as the Z10 & Q10: The Snapdragon S4 Plus (DualCore 1.5GHz), Adreno 225 graphics & 2GB of RAM. It has 16GB of onboard storage and is expandable by microSD.
One of the biggest perks of BlackBerry OS 10 was that you could also install Android apps, however in 2020 with BlackBerry World no longer working and only the Amazon App Store and VERY limited app support for android apps, you're really going to have a hard time using this now. The browser works great though and most social media works well in it as well as Youtube.
The Play store does not come on the phone by default so this must be installed manually. I used the following link to download and install the play store:
