After my editing PC was destroyed by the recent flood, I decided it was a great excuse to upgrade some of the equipment in the studio. On the top of the list was by video capture device. I had been using Amazon and eBay cheap capture devices for my analog sources, and they were pretty terrible. This time, I decided to go with something with excellent quality: the Blackmagic Intensity Pro 4K. This PCIe card will handle anything from 525line NTSC SD video to 4K digital. In this video, we will look around it, get it installed, and do a live video capture from VHS to see how it looks.
