The new Blaser K95 Ultimate rifle offers a premium break barrel system with interchangeable barrels for calibre ranging from .22 Hornet to 10.3 x 60R allows a degree of flexibility any shooter can appreciate. The lightweight nature of this type of rifle is further enhanced by the new all carbon fibre ultra lightweight stock. Even better this Ultimate model is a thumbhole design with rather nice leather inserts instead of checkering. You still have the Blaser signature decocker safety system and the trigger with its direct sear engagement is sublime.
Many shooters may belittle a single shot rifle but savvy hunters realise the versatility and benefits that this K95`s light, accurate and highly portable single shooter provides. It kind of concentrates the mind on getting that first shot perfect and in any case the instant opening nature of the break barrel design allows a super fast reload anyway, win win in my view. Barrel length due to no chamber means you can have a longer barrel for a ballistic advantage but still have a shorter than standard rifle overall length and weighs 5.6lbs. Its not cheap but it`s probably the only rifle you will need.
