"Should I get a Pen and Tablet?" is a question I get asked a lot. I would say having a Tablet has made my job many times easier. If you are planning on using the 2D Animation / Grease Pencil then you might want to invest in a Tablet. That being said, you can do a lot with a mouse so it's not necessarily needed.
