ElectricBikeReview.com

The Blix Aveny Skyline is a stylish, city oriented electric bicycle complete with paintmatched rear rack, aluminum alloy fenders, and integrated lights with brake activation. Refined from previous generations it offers a cleaner and stronger frame, hidden motor controller, and bottle cage bosses on the seat tube. Double tube midstep frame combines strength with approachability. While this ebike only comes in one frame size, the seat can be positioned very low, the stem offers adjustable angle, and the sweptback handlebar can be swiveled to point up or down. Comfort oriented saddle with integrated handle, matching ergonomic grips, and tires. Beautiful silver accents for all supporting hardware. Sturdy chainring guide reduces drops. Intuitive halfgrip twist shifter is easy to learn than trigger shifters for many casual riders. High capacity battery pack uses premium Panasonic sells. Powerful planetary geared hub motor is satisfying and responsive with throttle override. Large display with USB charging port builtin. Metal rack and fenders add some weight. The price has increased by $100 since previous generation, but the bike has been improved and refined in several ways. External battery pack is positioned well for stability and protection, and cheaper to replace than a fancy internal one, but isn't as easy to reach and remove. Basic 2 amp charger, entrylevel derailleur with limited gear range of 14 to 28 tooth on the freewheel.
