Ovarian cancer अंडाशय से भी उत्पन्न हो सकता है और Fallopian Tubes में से भी।
२. Germ Cell Tumors

0:42 CA 125 की मात्रा बढ़ना
ज्यादातर Ovarian cancer में CA –125 की मात्रा बढ़ी हुई होती है। लेकिन इसकेलिए अन्य भी कारण हो सकते है।
पेट का TB, सधी गांठ, Endometriosis, कोई infection या inflammation में भी ये levels बढ़ी हुई होती है।

01:52 क्या सभी CA 125 बढ़ना मतलब cancer होता है?
नहीं। Germ Cell Tumors में CA –125 नही बढ़ता। इसके मार्कर्स अलग होते है तो इस type के ovarian cancer में CA –125 नहीं बढ़ता।
