In this episode we grind a large stump and roots that were left behind by a tree company, finish grade and area and then aerate and seed. We use our Ventrac 4500Z to do a lot of these for customers who want the area to be nice and smooth and part of the yard again. All too often, the original stump grinding isn't deep enough to perform a finished grade so we need to make sure the stump and roots are ground deep enough for the final graded surface. Once the KC180 Stump Grinder has done the job, we use the KP540 Power Rake to grade and smooth the area, also using the bucket on the 3 point to move any debris off to the side. Once finished it's time for the EA600 Aeravator with Gandy Seedbox to drop in the premium rye blend seed! Ventrac is the most versatile platform I've seen to handle a vast array of specialty jobs AND we can go places that traditional equipment simply can't handle such as steep hills, soft soil, mud or marsh. This job was pretty easy and straightforward.
