As far as SUVs go, BMW X5 is one of the cooler ones you can get, providing luxury and power all in one with styling that's aggressive, but also approachable. Just like any other BMW, there are problems to expect on the 3rd generation BMW X5 that's also known as the BMW F15 as they age. Luckily, X5 is a very popular car so BMW has used some of the best engines they have after a few years of fixes and upgrade. In this video, I discuss problems that are common to the entire range and then go into specifics on each version of the car such as the sDrive35i and xDrive 35i with the N55 engine, the xDrive50i with the n63tu engine and the eDrive40i with the n20 engine and hybrid system.
